I specialise in building paper thin geometric constructions in porcelain.
The new Arkitektonen arose from a conceptual idea of using cut clay remains from previous years’ projects. Hereby I get one more intuitive and unexpected composition of share, angles and colours.
An architectural construction that I could not have thought of with my perfectionism.
It’s quite a lot for me to relinquish control, but also quite refreshing to work more playfully and imperfect.
Instead of using brush with slip to attach the walls as I used to, I know use a syringe with slip, which is difficult to control, but is now part of the concept.
